I dub thy day the WORST OF THE YEAR!

The day after Christmas is terrible. 364 more days until the time of the year comes again. Depressing? Uh, ya. Anyway I had a great Christmas. I actually went to sleep at 12 and didn't wake up until 8! Amazing! Last year I went to bed at 9, woke up at 12, and didn't go back to sleep. My back has been hurting to, so going to sleep was a Christmas miracle. I got lots of socks this year. 3 fuzzy socks, one pair of adorable knee high socks, and a pair of knit socks with leather on the bottom. I used to not like those, but they really grew on me. I got a hamburger bank, a giant skeleton key, a lava lamp, a polka dot trashcan :), two journals, zebra duck tape, a sock monkey shaped blue chalk board, a game of Funglish, a caboodle, a grabber thing, an apron,various stocking stuffers, and a pair of fluffy booty house slippers. It was a little less than normal, but I love everything so I don't care a bit.  I still got more than I need! This year I bought my mom full sized lotion bottle, (Be Enchanted), and a necklace she has been wanting from Charming Charlie's. I also made a small knitted polar bear for my Nana. We made the turkey this year and it took FOREVER! We finally ate lunch/supper at three. I am so thankful for my family and the many blessings I have. I have exciting news....I am getting a new bed!!!! I have had my bunk bed for over a year, and since my room is smallish it takes up a lot of space. I like it, but I would rather have a normal bed. I am going to sell the bunk bed and get a new bed from ikea. Ya! I can't wait to re-arrange my room. 2011 was a great year. I can't wait to see what 2012 brings!

Today was fun! Callie, my friend, came over. I haven't seen her in over a year. She has grown up alot! She is one of my really close friends and I miss her already. Christmas time is almost here. Well, it practiclly is. School is out and everyone is happy. Right? Not. For some reason I just don't feel it. I am angry I don't feel it. Perhaps it had to do with something called "my-math-test-I-didn't-know-we-had-and-didn't-study-and-got-the-worst-grade-in-math-I've-ever-gotten". I think that is going to change today, hopefully, because we are going to give to the family in need (read last post) and get Hannah, and go to the birthday suprise (read back like 5 posts or so). Man, I've been waiting for the special birthday thing since before Thanksgiving. I'm excited about Christmas I think. A bit nervous too....I mean Christmas is nerve wracking! I didn't know what I wanted this year but I'm sure what I get will be great. On a brighter note yesterday we did NOTHING (Well I finished up the math test). During Language and Math we just watched the original Miracle On 34 Street, colored version with our pillows and salty snack. We also got a free dress day, yay! We made cowgirl cookies in a jar, Chrtsmas version, and had a $5 giftcard exchange. I had gotten a giftcard from Target. It had a picture of a penguin tanning in the artcic in a lawn chair. It smelled like coconuts. At the end of the giftcard exchange I got a gift card to Sonic. I bought montzerlla sticks and a medium blue coconut slush. Yummy! More updates later.

Woke up in the morning feeling extremely cozy and not ready to get up... did anyway. I went to language arts and realized I hadn't discussed questions I was supposed to with my mom. Went to math and had a test that was a surprise...for me. I didn't see it on the assignment sheet and hadn't studied. It was SO hard!!! I didn't even finish it. But then we had a birthday celebration and I got yummy popcorn, cream soda, skittles, and chips. Yum! Went to science and had a big test and folder check. I had no clue where two papers were...(one was in the trash actually) I'm guessing I'll get a 90, but not sure. So not a good day at school, but I'm still trying to stay cheery. Almost done with school!! On Saturday I'm going to have a busy day. I'm going to pick up Hannah and go do the special birthday thing (If you haven't heard of this before, go back and read a couple posts). Then were going to give some gifts and food to a family in need. There is a little 4 year old girl who doesn't even have a coat and walks to the bus stop wrapped in blankets. :( Thankfully we can spread the love of Jesus and give her a coat and a little toy. I can't wait!! My tooth is almost out and I've heard the tooth fairy is still willimg to come and give us so cizash :) (I meant to spell like that). I'm excited and happy and ready for school to be over! How about you?

Well, I have some news.  First off we received a small package from Target. My Mom says it might be for Dad, but Dad has like never ordered anything from Target. And why would he? There's no guitar stuff there as far as I'm concerned. My Mom said I can't open and do not shake it ( I was shaking it, it was small and padded). On black Friday there was deal, $195 for ipod 4g, (they are usually 199) and get a $40 gift card! I think I may have convinced her her. Or maybe it's just a random thing. We'll see! Today we took a REALLY HARD surprise spelling test to see if we could qualify for something exactly like U.Y.L. After the test most people got around 7 right (there was 20 words). I got 15. Two other peeps got 16, but hey I'm still in the top three! So I guess I get to be in the spelling category. Not real excited. Either on Friday or Monday we are going to see who gets to go into the writing category. I hope I do! I am pretty sure I will, not trying to toot my own horn. We get a writing prompt (a couple sentences beginning a story) and we have to go from there. I think I'll be good.  I finished a MARVELOUS book (I began yesterday, it's 485 pages long. There I am, tooting my own horn again!) Called The Mysterious Bendict Society. There are three books in the series. Here's a picture:

Whew! What fun! I had lots of fun at my Grandma's house. I did rollerblade, (A LOT) though not where I did last time two years ago. Two years ago we just roller bladed in her garage, and this tiny hill that was in it was terrifying to us. I didn't even notice it this time until my cousin pointed it out. This time we took to the side walks (Van Buren is a hilly place) and it was a lot of fun. We also went shopping on Black Friday and I got this!!!!!Sorry for the bad photo, I was too lazy to get my camera and take one, so I just did it on my laptop. It's a sock monkey hat. I also got that super neon shirt that's in the picture too (the quality really limits it's neon awesomeness). I also got a cute jacket from Justice and a minion from Despicable Me shirt from Rue 21. I found out while I was there that I am a fanatic for cherry pie, and that Golden Corral is my second favorite restaurant. I had never been there before, and I had no idea that had literally everything there. From fried chicken to Chinese food to cotton candy. It was pretty good. I also saved from stuff from there for my guineas, including two slices of cucumber, one broccoli floret, one strawberry, and a slice of green bell pepper. Also for the first time I picked up and held my cousin's dog that she has had for like 5 or 6 years.I am so lame. I hold her alot now to make up for it. I am seriously dreading school, especially math. I HATE MATH! My birthday is on a Wednesday this year...Wednesdays are my least my favorite day of the week. Your not close to the weekend, nor fresh from the weekend, and math tests, quizzes, and soggy sandwiches are on that day! Yuck! Fridays are my favorite day of the week because you have the whole weekend ahead of you and hot lunch at school is on that day. Hot lunch is either Chick-Fil A, pizza, Taco Bell, Dickey's, etc. Church is that day too, and I get to go out to eat for dinner! My birthday is coming upon December 7, in 9 days! Eeeeek!!!! This year I want an iTouch 4g. That's all. Okay, okay, I know, three digit price tag, but hey. We got home yesterday pretty late, but that didn't stop us from putting up the Christmas tree and garlands. Update: My mom called me and sounds like I might get one! Yipee! I feel like cooking right now. Did I mention my birthday is not only on a Wednesday but on a school day? Oh well, I get donut holes. BTW, when I was at my Grandma's, we found a beagle that was was the coloring of a tater tot. It had a golden brown covering and white spots. One of it's paw padding was broken, but it was so friendly! I named it Sir Tatertot and it actually responded to us and followed us. It even let Hannah pick it up and carry it...on rollerblades. It loved Ginger her dog, but it had problems. It really wanted to get to know her. It never stopped. Anyway, I can't wait till Christmas! Last year I organized speeches, dances, and singing. In my christmas toe socks, red and green braces, santa hat, and red and white polka dot nightgown. Will never, ever do that again! Last year it was like I had coffee but the caffiene never died down. I think I have grown up this year (not much physically).

P.S. I am putting up one two of my American Girls up for sale today (I have six) soI can get money to buy some things like toms, and maybe a good iTouch case like an OtterBox. And maybe some clothes. Last year I didn't understand why people would want clothes for Christmas. Why not toys? Well this year is different.

P.P.S My Grandma gave me an early bday gift and it was a beautiful, large, and cherry wood jewelery box. I  L.O.V.E it.
